The Vendor is required to provide for environmental services.
- Environmental services would include, but not limited to:
• Facilities environmental inspection services of existing building
• Provide test results and recommendations
• Perform necessary remediation, abatement and clearances.
• Conduct and prepare communications with agency as required
• Provide clearance upon completion
- The environmental services will be for all city properties under the agency management group on an “as-required” basis, including scope and protocol development, environmental testing, remediation oversight and management, post-remediation inspections and sampling or reports of environmental/air quality concerns city owned facilities.
- Air monitoring – may include planning and implementing an air monitoring plan at city owned properties at various locations. Depending on the history of the site, the consultant would advise on the likely contaminants present and suspected material that may be disturbed and methods to track such particulate matters. The consultant will advise on types of monitoring necessary, frequency, and placement of monitors. Once results of monitoring results are available, it will likely include review of the results and making recommendations to the city on next steps or other preventative measures.
- Mold, moisture & bacteria testing – may include planning, designing, implementing, monitoring or auditing plans or project sites that are known to or suspected of mold situation occurred on site.
- Lead-based paint surveys, management, and abatement – may include planning, designing, implementing, monitoring or auditing plans or project sites that are known to or suspected of having lead-based paint on site.
- Health and safety monitoring – may include but not be limited to air, soil or water monitoring to ensure health and safety of residents and staff at specific locations.
- Preliminary site assessments – may include performing field assessments and reporting on the overall condition of city-owned sites, including limitations for development and access.
- Sampling and testing services – may include collection, sampling, lab delivery and analysis of water, soil and air samples. Depending on the history of the site, the consultant would advise on the likely contaminants present and suspected material that may be disturbed and methods to track. The consultant should plan to review lab results and make recommendations to the city on measures to prevent spread and minimize risk.
- Storm water pollution prevention planning – may include plan development, monitoring, reporting and auditing of city-owned sites or facilities. The consultant should demonstrate experience implementing best management practices and storm water control measures.
