• Provide subject matter expertise and consulting services related to advanced distributed energy resources (DER), including:
o Energy information systems (EIS), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) integration, and advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) to support measurement, monitoring, and verification of campus energy performance.
o Photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage systems (BESS), including feasibility studies, interconnection support, system sizing, energy modeling, lifecycle cost analysis, O&M strategies, and alignment with applicable utility and regulatory programs.
o Microgrid and campus resiliency planning, including islanding capabilities, backup power strategies, and integration with campus emergency management planning.
o Demand response and demand charge management strategies, including economic modeling and incentive program navigation.
o Technical and financial advisory services for power purchase agreements (PPAS), energy service performance contracts (ESPCS), or other third-party financing structures.
o Electrification strategies for buildings and transportation, including EV charging integration and load impact forecasting.
o Post-installation performance monitoring, reporting, and continuous optimization.
• Assist with implementation of district energy and sustainability resolution and or roadmap to sustainability and climate action
• Optional services - task orders may include technology partner engagement for:
o Deployment of energy data management platforms and software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions.
o Integration of utility meter and submeter data for real-time dashboards and performance tracking.
o Custom reporting and analytics to support the district’s sustainability reporting requirements.
