The Vendor is required business development services
- On-call consultants to develop face-to-face and virtual on demand curricula, as well as provide as-needed professional training, technical assistance, mentoring, and associated materials and services, to support applicants and licensees eligible for the Social Equity Program.
- Business planning and management, including, but not limited to:
• Accounting and sales forecasting
• Payroll practices
• Inventory management, including purchasing, invoicing, security and quality control
• Regulatory compliance, filing and records retention
• Human Resources (HR)
• Contracting
• Commercial leases and negotiation
• Marketing and branding
• Insurance
• Security requirements, initial installation and maintenance costs (cameras, security personnel)
• Merchandise transportation and delivery
• Cannabis-industry-specific education and training services related to the following subject matters:
• Financial planning and fiscal management;
• Raising capital and identifying funds;
• Identifying and acquiring compliant real estate;
• Navigating investor opportunities;
• Cannabis tax projection and compliance; and,
• Cannabis company valuation training
• Public Outreach Services
• Provide one-on-one assistance, engagement, and ongoing support (including in person, by phone, email, web, and/or social media);
• Conduct scheduled in-person and virtual workshops held at various locations within the City;
• Develop information, resources, and updates, including program schedules, to be shared online at DCR websites and through other media which may include print, broadcast, and/or digitized materials;
• Conduct community public outreach;
• Create forums to allow program participants to connect directly with regulators, industry experts, and other stakeholders;
• Use of digital technology, such as e-guides, checklists, blogs, videos, webinars, and infographics to provide relevant educational content to assist SEP participants;
• Use formats that meet State accessibility requirements for the sight and hearing impaired, including closed captioning, alternate file formats accessible by screen readers, and content transcripts when applicable; and,
• Use of current and recognized marketing, advertising, public relations, and event marketing capabilities to reach the public and stakeholders.
