The vendor is required to provide the technical framework and integration requirements for concessionaires providing advertising services at the support.
- Content management system
• The concessionaire is permitted to use their own proprietary software for content creation and control.
• If the offeror is electing to use their own software, they will be responsible for pc, servers and remote access.
• This would include adhering to software licensing and security patching. we would only provide the layer 2 (non-routed) VLAN to connect to advertising monitors.
• Proposers must Describe their experience integrating their systems with existing content management solutions at similar airports or high-security environments
- Network and system access:
• The support will provide a dedicated, virtual local area network (VLAN) for the concessionaire’s core equipment to maintain security and performance isolation.
• The concessionaire's systems must be compatible with the support’s networking architecture, ensuring no disruption to the support’s core systems.
• Internet connectivity for the concessionaire’s VLAN is allowed, provided it is strictly isolated from critical airport systems.
• Offerors must detail their approach to securing internet access to ensure there is no compromise to the support’s network.
• Remote access to the concessionaire’s VLAN for content management and system updates is permitted but must comply with the support’s IT security protocols. remote access must be encrypted and approved by the support’s IT security team.
- Equipment and hardware requirements:
• While the support has certain assets that may be used by the concessionaire, (e.g., digital displays), the concessionaire is responsible for supplying and installing the following hardware components:
o Content controllers: to manage and distribute advertising content.
o Digital display controllers: to manage the functionality and output of the digital displays.
o Encoders: to convert the signal from digital display controllers to cat 6 cabling for transmission across the network.
o All necessary patch and power cables for system functionality.
o Uninterruptable power supplies: for any content, display controllers or servers.
the city will provide climate-controlled rooms; however, the offeror will need to provide a network topology and IDF elevation maps.
• Proposers must ensure their equipment is compatible with the sun port’s infrastructure, particularly with the monitors and network architecture.
the sun port will not supply these content management and signal conversion devices.
- Security and compliance:
• All systems must comply with the support’s it security policies, it policies standards procedures, which include encrypted communications for any data transmission.
• Any access to physical network infrastructure or equipment areas must be approved and coordinated with the supports’ IT security team.
• All iOT devices must have installed and maintain up to date antivirus software and security patches.
- system integration and flexibility:
• The sun port seeks innovative, technically sound solutions within the boundaries set by the existing infrastructure.
• Proposers must describe their approach to integrating their systems with the supports’ systems including but not limited to digital displays and VLAN.
• Examples of successful implementations at airports or in similar environments should be highlighted.
- Maintenance and support:
• The concessionaire will be responsible for the maintenance, support, and troubleshooting of all equipment they install.
• Proposals must include a technical maintenance and support plan detailing response times and support structures.
