The Vendor is required to provide establish a premier weekly event in state, fostering tourism, economic growth, and cultural celebration.
- The comprehensive management of the city festival, including:
- Event planning & coordination
• Secure all required permits, including street closures, public assembly, and fire safety approvals.
• Develop a comprehensive event execution plan, ensuring seamless coordination with stakeholders.
• Design and implement a vendor layout with signage, visitor amenities, and crowd management measures.
- Vendor management
• Identify, coordinate, and secure participation from local vendors, including artisans, souvenir makers, and specialty food providers.
• Curate a farm-to-table and traditional cuisine experience.
• Establish and enforce vendor guidelines to maintain authenticity and quality.
• Implement a digital vendor registration, application, and payment system.
• Ensure availability of electrical and lighting requirements for vendors.
- Cultural & entertainment programming
• Plan and coordinate cultural performances, including traditional dance and live music.
• Develop interactive workshops, such as weaving, cooking, carving, and traditional crafts.
• Organize themed nights (e.g., island heritage nights) to enhance cultural engagement.
• Oversee stage design, lighting, and sound to create an immersive experience.
- Logistics & public safety
• Coordinate public safety efforts with state police department and state fire department.
• Develop and implement a traffic control and emergency response plan.
• Manage logistical requirements, including power, water, and sanitation.
• Ensure post-event clean-up and garbage removal.
• Secure the event venue and oversee operational security.
