The Vendor is required to provide a setup charge shall be allowed for the preparation of the necessary equipment and materials to customize promotional products with the County’s artwork.
- This fee shall cover creating the required setups, calibrating machinery, and ensuring accurate reproduction of the design.
- It must include the creation and approval of digital proofs.
- Setup charges may vary depending on the complexity of the artwork and the items being ordered. Setup charges for the initial purchase of any custom item shall be as follows:
1. Screen Printing:
• $20 to $100 per color
• Common for apparel and bags
2. Embroidery:
• $30 to $100 per design
• Often used for hats, jackets, and polos
3. Digital Printing:
• $10 to $50 per setup
• Used for items like drinkware and tech gadgets
4. Pad Printing:
• $25 to $75 per color
• Typically used for smaller items like pens and keychains
5. Laser Engraving:
• $30 to $75 per setup
• Common for metal and glass items.
