The vendor is required to provide technology driven marketing intelligence and tech scouting services for include:
- Prepare and provide assessment reports for six (6) university of technologies designated by the university office that include the following:
• Inventor interview summary.
• Technology overview to include novel features.
• Recommendation on commercial potential, strengths and opportunities, weaknesses and threats.
o Recommendation summary, including how to protect the inventions and commercialize.
• Intellectual property status, specifically general patent landscape, freedom to operate assessment.
• Brief market analysis, including potential licensees, markets and market size.
• Summary of inventors, technology readiness, development resources, intellectual property (IP), business strategy (including how to get to market), market fit, technology development and commercialization roadmap.
- In-depth market assessment for one (1) of the six (6) technologies assessed and selected by uh office, to further advance toward commercialization, including deeper secondary research into one (1) market to be selected by uh, two (2) primary research interviews in the selected market, and summary report in PowerPoint format.
- Conduct a technology-driven market intelligence project for an agency client that will include:
• A kickoff meeting and needs assessment to understand the agency client’s manufacturing capabilities, technologies, markets of interest, key research questions, and how they will use the research to further business goals.
• secondary research in two (2) to three (3) markets.
• Primary research two (2) to three (3) markets.
• Two (2) interim touchpoints to share research findings and gather feedback from the agency client.
• Analysis of market insights using swot (strength, weakness, opportunity, threat) and other business tools to prioritize opportunities and develop actionable recommendations.
• A final PowerPoint report summarizing the key research questions, research process, key research findings, interview summaries, and recommendations.
