The vendor required to provide lobbying and public relations services for include:
• Monitoring all legislation that may affect the board directly or indirectly
• Representing the board at meetings with legislators, legislative staff and lobbyists
• Providing testimony to various subcommittees, committees, and commissions
• Communicating all issues to the executive officer
• Communicating to elected officials and the public the importance of licensure of contractors for the protection of the public
• Providing assistance to the board in developing legislative strategies
• Providing written and verbal reports to the executive officer
• Providing media training
• Coordinating community outreach partnerships
• Assisting with media placement and coordinating media opportunities
• Aiding in the development of social media, collateral materials, etc.
• Providing guidance on public relations matters.
