The Vendor is required to provide companies to manage its trade representation and promotional programs in Japan.
- This includes, but is not limited to, market research, marketing, public relations, advertising, and acting as agency representative in Japan.
- Must be from companies that have the expertise and experience to plan, manage, execute, and measure promotional activities targeting consumers, media, and the trade (including importers, wholesalers, retailers, food manufacturers, and foodservice).
- This may include, but is not limited to, the following:
• Managing annual budget as allocated by agency
• Strategic Planning
• Expanding distribution and consumption of state grapefruit
• Development, management and measurement of day-to-day business under guidance and direction of agency
o Marketing and public relations (consumer, trade, media)
o Retail and Foodservice promotions
o Advertising
o Market Research
o Creating and Managing agency web and social media assets
• Managing third-party vendors as approved by agency
• Representing the agency industry to Japanese consumers, media, and the trade (importers, wholesalers, retailers, food manufacturers, and foodservice operators)
• Meeting with agency exporters to brief them on the agency programs and market as needed
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with country Embassy staff and personnel
• Submitting monthly and end-of-season report.
