- Requirement:
1. Organizational familiarization
• Develop a thorough understanding of agency mandate, marketing strategy, and current advertising products available to tourism operators and businesses.
2. Operator engagement and needs assessment
• Build relationships with tourism operators to understand their marketing challenges and objectives.
• Recommend advertising solutions that align with their needs and maximize value.
3. Sales innovation and program development
• Research and propose new advertising and sponsorship opportunities that align with agency goals.
• Continuously evolve the program to reflect industry trends and operator feedback.
4. Marketing collateral creation
• Design and produce a comprehensive sales brochure (print and digital) outlining available advertising opportunities, pricing, and benefits.
• Ensure materials are clear, professional, and accessible to operators.
5. Sales execution
• Conduct proactive outreach and sales activities via in-person meetings, phone calls, and email communications.
• Represent agency professionally and persuasively in all sales interactions.
6. Sales tracking and documentation
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of:
o Contacts made and communications;
o Products sold;
o Operator marketing materials submitted;
o Billing and invoicing details;
o Any other relevant documentation.
7. Industry awareness and trend monitoring
• Stay informed of current and emerging marketing trends within the tourism and advertising sectors.
• Apply insights to enhance program offerings and operator value.
8. Program administration and coordination
• Provide full administrative support for the program, including timely scheduling, reporting, and coordination with agency staff.
• Ensure timely delivery of advertising content and execution of digital ad buys (e.g., sponsored links, impressions).
• Manage budgets and ensure cost-effective implementation of all sales activities.
