RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide independent consultant or consulting firm to conduct a feasibility study for a major comprehensive fundraising campaign.
- The study will assess agency current fundraising readiness, evaluate its capacity to undertake a multi-million-dollar campaign, and provide actionable recommendations to maximize fundraising effectiveness, including guidance on campaign structure, target donor segments, and resource allocation.
- Objectives
•    Assess agency internal capacity, leadership commitment, and organizational preparedness for a multi-year, multi-million-dollar comprehensive fundraising campaign.
•    Determine realistic campaign goals, timelines, and financial targets.
•    Identify key leadership, donor prospects, and external factors, including the state philanthropic landscape, influencing campaign success.
•    Provide strategic recommendations to align fundraising efforts with the agency long-term sustainability and growth priorities.
- Methodology
•    Develop a detailed research plan, including:
o    Stakeholder interviews (board, staff, volunteers, major donors, educators, community, and business leaders in state).
o    Surveys and/or focus groups to gather broader input.
o    Review of historical fundraising performance, donor trends, and campaign data.
•    Employ both qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to assess the agency readiness and donor potential.
- Stakeholder Engagement
•    Create a communication plan to ensure transparency, engagement, and buy-in across agency leadership, board, staff, and volunteers.
•    Schedule regular progress meetings with agency leadership to review interim findings.
- Success Metrics
•    Define measurable benchmarks for campaign readiness (e.g., leadership commitment, donor interest, internal resources).
•    Provide indicators to evaluate the feasibility and potential success of the campaign.
- Risk Assessment
•    Identify potential challenges, including economic conditions and competing philanthropic initiatives.
•    Recommend strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- Technology and Data Management
•    Recommend tools for donor tracking, campaign planning, and reporting.
•    Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards.
