The vendor required to provide real estate services, including marketing the property, listing on the multiple listing service (MLS), engaging with prospective clients, coordinating property showings, and assisting the city with documentation required to close sales.
- The successful real estate brokerage or agent will be responsible for the following services for each subject property:
• List each property for sale on MLS and other relevant platforms;
• Develop and implement a marketing strategy tailored to the subject property;
• Install professional signage;
• Engage with potential clients, including public and agent inquiries and the hosting and coordination of property showings;
• Directing potential clients to the process for bids and submitting questions;
• Provide regular progress updates to designated municipal staff; and
• Assist with documentation required to close the transaction.
- The selected real estate agent or brokerage:
• Pre-sale preparation, including the appraisal and valuation of each property.
• Appraisals will be undertaken by a third-party and independent real estate appraiser who will provide an impartial opinion on a property's market value;
• Reviewing bids from prospective buyers;
• Price negotiations and offer acceptance;
• Closing and post-sale requirements.
