RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide for a comprehensive textbook/curriculum and digital platform for video and audio production I, II and III.
- Research based instructional strategies for a range of academically diverse learners explicitly identified and embedded into the core curriculum.
- Curricular and Instructional Materials should be organized in a systemic way that is comprehensive and clear.
- To ensure all students have access to standards-based curriculum, it is essential that we embed the elements of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Differentiated Instruction (DI) in the instructional design and delivery of the curriculum.
- UDL and DI principles and strategies will allow all students to have an equitable opportunity to perform at the required levels established by the standards.
- Additionally, the curriculum documents will help all educators to deliver consistently and intentionally, monitor, assess, and evaluate teaching and learning in all classrooms.
- Tiered interventions, supplemental to the core curricula, provide increasing levels of targeted support and differentiated instruction for students not meeting the learning standards. Diagnostic assessments are included to determine intervention needs. Progress monitoring tools for the tiered interventions provided for teachers to collect ongoing student performance data.
- Video and Audio Production I - This introductory course introduces students to the fundamental principles of media production and broadcasting, emphasizing the basics of visual composition, audio recording, and storytelling. Students explore career pathways in film, television, radio, and online media, discovering the ethical and responsible use of emerging technologies.
- Video and Audio Production II - Building on Video and Audio Production I, students delve deeper into the production process, focusing on intermediate video editing, audio post-production, and collaborative workflow management. Students gain hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, and DaVinci Resolve to edit, color grade, and master audiovisual projects.
- Video and Audio Production III - This capstone course challenges students to refine and expand their technical and creative proficiencies in both audio engineering and motion graphics. Students delve into Avid Pro Tools to produce professional-level audio, including multi-track recording, editing, and mixing.
