RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide public and media relations support service includes, but is not limited to, print, radio, television, internet/web forums, public relations, community relations, community focus groups and effective strategies for community projects and public education regarding authority.
- Services to include, but are not limited, to the following:
A. Proactively develop and coordinate publicity and media opportunities.
B. Develop ongoing communication programs and help sustain a positive image of authority within the business community.
C. Develop local messages of key business issues relevant to authority and distribution to authority key constituencies, opinion leaders, and decision-makers.
D. Work with authority staff on development and education regarding issues of local concern.
E. Work with authority officials to identify key issues affecting the authority ability to meet its mission and then develop appropriate strategies to overcome those issues.
F. Provide dedicated account representatives to be accessible to meet with authority and make presentations as requested. Copies and all relevant materials of the presentations shall be supplied to authority.
G. Respondent will be familiar with projects and activities of various State County agencies and will advise authority of possible programs or activities for which authority may make application.
H. Assist in securing permits and approvals that might be occasionally required from state and/or local government or any of its agencies.
I. Respondent shall submit a monthly report of their activities, including any expense items. 
J. Respondent will perform as-needed services that are not specifically enumerated, but similar in nature, at the direction of the authority Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
K. Provide a quarterly report of media coverage for authority and its four airports.
L. Identify staff member to serve as media liaison in the event of emergency and/or in the absence of internal media personnel.
M. Develop and maintain updated media contact list, including local, national, and industry outlets.
N. Develop and conduct as-needed media training for key authority staff.
O. Support authority staff with crisis communications support, if necessary.
