The Vendor is required to provide grant strategy, development, and management support services to strengthen the district’s ability to identify, secure, manage, and communicate external funding opportunities that advance agency priorities.
- Requirement:
1. Grant analysis and opportunity alignment:
• The provider will review current agency initiatives, priorities, and existing grant investments to identify funding gaps, emerging needs, and opportunities for expansion.
• This work will inform a focused grant strategy that reflects district direction and implementation capacity.
• The provider will maintain a rolling grant calendar and provide early notification of funding opportunities requiring advance planning.
• Opportunity summaries will be concise, clearly outlining expectations, benefits, and potential impact for agency.
2. Leadership coordination and strategy meetings:
• The provider will participate in ongoing strategy meetings with agency leadership to support planning before, during, and after grant cycles.
• Meetings may include pre-planning discussions, working sessions during proposal development, and post-award reviews to assess outcomes and next steps.
• Support may include preparation of briefings or materials that assist the superintendent or designee in prioritizing grant opportunities and aligning work across departments.
3. Grant development and proposal support:
• Upon agency approval, the provider will lead development of competitive grant applications, including narrative drafting, coordination of required materials, and technical review.
• The provider will work collaboratively with agency staff to gather programmatic information and support development of budgets and attachments.
• Development will include consideration of sustainability, implementation capacity, and long-term impact prior to submission.
4. Post-award coordination and implementation support:
• The provider will assist agency departments in organizing awarded grant projects, supporting timelines, deliverables, and reporting expectations.
• Support may include coordination across departments when opportunities span multiple initiatives or divisions and providing technical assistance that strengthens internal grant implementation practices.
• The provider will not perform fiscal accounting functions or supervise district staff.
5. Grant tracking, reporting, and leadership updates:
• The provider will maintain a centralized system that tracks grant opportunities, applications in progress, and awarded funding.
• Regular written updates will be provided to the superintendent or designee for outlining progress, upcoming opportunities, and key milestones.
• When requested, the provider will assist in preparing concise updates or presentation materials for agency leadership and the board of education.
• Support may include drafting summaries, preparing slides, or participating in meetings as directed by agency.
