Recycling, Waste, and Confidential Shredding Services

The vendor is required to provide that recycling, waste, and confidential shredding services.
- Recycling services:
• Recycling services are to include:
o Supplying and servicing five sets of six like new, material labeled 8-yard front load recycle bins per site to accept commingled recycling (5) and glass recycling (1). one set at each of the locations listed below, for a total of 30 bins, emptied monthly
- Debolt
- Crooked creek
- Little smoky
- Sunset house
o Two transfer stations require three, like new 8-yard recycling bins, emptied monthly. these locations are:
- Sunset house
- Debolt
o One transfer station requires five like new commingled and 1 glass 8-yard bins, emptied monthly.
- New fish creek
o Supply and service 22 like new 8-yard recycle bins 10 carboard, 4 mixed paper, 4 1-7 plastics, and 4 tin/metal bins. these bins will be located at serviced bi-weekly.
o Servicing cardboard and comingled recycle bins that are owned in the hamlet of cache, and the co-ops and enterprises if bins are requested. serviced weekly.
o Supply and service 2 like new 8-yard bins in the town of at the operations shop and the regional multiplex for cardboard recycling, serviced bi-weekly.
- Waste services
• Waste services to be provided include supply and service like new bins as follows:
o One - 4-yard garbage bin per site, serviced weekly at:
- Debolt public service building,
- City public service building,
- City operations shop.
o Two - 4-yard bins at the nose creek settlement down the two lakes road. serviced weekly.
o Three - 40-yard roll-off bins, with lids that operates smoothly, and are well maintained, per site, at city and south wapiti transfer sites for garbage, serviced on-call estimated at 2 bins per week at city and 1 bin per week at south wapiti, totaling an estimated 12 bins per month.
o One - 40-yard roll-off bin, with lid, and a back door that operates smoothly, and are well maintained, per site for furniture waste. serviced on an on-call basis estimated one bin per month at city and south wapiti.
o One – 4-yard garbage bin at the debolt sani-dump. delivered beginning of may and serviced weekly until the end of October, then removed for the winter months.
- Confidential shredding
• Confidential files placed in contractor-supplied lockable 64-gallon totes within offices in, debolt, city and cache. once the shredding is complete a certificate of destruction must be produced and provided to the staff in the building. these buildings are serviced monthly and include:
o Valleyview, state
- Valleyview administration building (3 bins)
- Field services office (1 bin)
- Agricultural services building (1 bin)
- Operations building (1 bin)
- Family community support services building (1 bin)
- Greenview regional multiplex (1 bin)
- Construction office (1 bin)
- Recreation building (1 bin)
- Contract Period/Term: 3 years
