• Inspections
• Contingency plan and preparedness and prevention (Emergency Response)
1. Provide HAZWOPER Refresher (Estimated 5 attendees per class)
• Identify hazardous materials and perform an incident Hazard & Risk Assessment
• Demonstrate the correct use of air monitoring and calibration equipment
• Demonstrate the correct use of personal protective equipment and chemical protective clothing
• Properly don and doff a respirator (APR & SCBA)
• Select the appropriate cartridge and filter based on a specific hazard
• Identify and explain decontamination
• Explain basic chemical, and toxicological, terminology and chemical behavior
• Perform spill control / containment operations
• Demonstrate the ability to function within an assigned role in the Incident Command System
• Explain incident termination procedures
• Explain how to implement site or organization’s Emergency Plan(s)
