The vendor is required to provide a laboratory information management system (LIMS) and associated implementation services.
- Its customers enjoy clean water and healthy rivers and streams as a result of its innovative water management solutions, drainage management, water quality and stream enhancement projects, fish habitat protection and more.
- Currently using a LIMS product based on 32-bit architecture, which limits scalability and upgradability.
- Data import is slow and unreliable.
- Processing is slow and wasteful of person-hours.
- LIMS implementation: vendor will be responsible for configuring and deploying vendor’s proposed LIMS product in accordance with an approved implementation plan that includes, at a minimum, steps to complete the design, configuration, limited data migration, and testing, training, go-live and post-implementation support.
- Database design documentation will completely describe both the logical and physical structure of the system’s database.
- Include design and configuration of operating systems, database management systems, and software diagnostic programs.
- Must provide on-site, hands-on, practical training on the installed system and using agency equipment for a class size of up to 30 students.
