The vendor is required to provide annual fiscal and compliance audits.
- The audit firm shall issue a separate “management letter” that includes recommendations for improvements in internal control, accounting procedures and other significant observations that are considered to be non-reportable conditions.
- The single audit report will include appropriate schedule of expenditures of federal awards, footnotes, findings and questioned costs, including reportable conditions and material weaknesses, and follow up on prior audit findings where required.
- The audit firm shall prepare by November 30 of each contract year the annual fiscal and compliance audit for fiscal year ending June 30 of the previous fiscal year.
- Test internal controls over financial reporting and compliance with certain provisions of laws, regulations, contracts and grant agreements and other matters, in accordance with government auditing standards.
- Prepare report for the board of directors and management that identifies control deficiencies, significant deficiencies, and material weaknesses, if any, and your recommendations for improvements in accounting and administrative controls.
- Provide general financial consultation and training, as required, during the year, on financial reporting matters.
