- AMPS shall support dispatching work orders to mechanics, facility maintainers, and other users.
- AMPS shall support generating work orders from service requests from manager, supervisors, lead Mechanic transit parts coordinator, and other sources, creating relationships between work orders, and attaching work orders to any number of assets (mainly vehicles and facility systems).
- AMPS authorized users shall be able the update the work order and change the state to closed.
- AMPS authorized users shall be able to reopen and update the work order.
- AMPS authorized users be able to override an assigned mechanic or facility maintainer with substitutes using a dropdown menu with staff names and job titles.
- AMPS users shall be able to select and review work orders using multiple selection and sorting criteria that include all work order fields.
- AMPS shall auto generate uniquely work order numbers without limitation. These work order numbers shall be in continuation of existing work order numbers.
