The Vendor is required to provide plan review, inspection, planning administration, building admin and building official services.
- Providing services for building, plumbing, mechanical, electrical or housing inspector will conduct inspections and attend meetings when requested.
- Services include:
• Review building plans submitted to the city, validating all necessary and required building, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems on residential and commercial construction projects comply with state and local codes.
• The agency shall be available to review plans and provide necessary feedback to the public and city for approval and issuance of permits.
• The agency is responsible for providing denial letters to the applicant and the city via the designated permitting software that provides a customer interface.
• Conduct all necessary and required building, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC inspections on residential and commercial as needed.
• Construction within the city; responsible for properly documenting results and violations.
• Attend meetings, court hearings, and appeals as requested to support city staff.
• Maintain all state and local guidelines as mandated.
• Assist city staff with all inquiries as requested.
• Maintain all required certifications to conduct business as required by the contract.
• Assist with investigating complaints as requested and provide proper documents and violations as necessary.
• All inspections must be completed by the end of each business day as assigned k. plan review shall not exceed 5-7 business with prior approval of exceptions for complicated projects.
• Provide administrative services upon request for duties that include building official, front counter, and other office administration according to city policy and procedure.
• Provide administrative and consulting services for planning ordinance creation and project development as required.
• Provide consulting services for the city upon request on various construction projects as necessary.
