The Vendor is required to provide to conduct and assist with community relations management.
- Working with the mayor, town council, town manager, department heads, other community relations professionals, and key stakeholders, establish and maintain internal and external communications that enhance the understanding, perception and image of the town.
- Promotes, organizes and supports informational, educational, and special event activities that benefit the community and/or town employees.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with print and broadcast media, public officials, community leaders, and the general public.
- This position requires considerable independent judgement that serves as a general support to all departments as needed.
- Actively engages members of the business community during infrastructure reconstruction.
- Assists with the publication of monthly town newsletter including writing, editing, layout, etc.
- Assist in the coordination of the direction and content of town websites and select town social media accounts.
