The vendor is required to provide the intention of agency to receive proposals for “direct to internet services” on behalf of school districts.
- The service will be capable of 2,5,10 gigabit circuits, pending the price return sheet, with om3/4 lc multimode fiber preferred for the connection.
- The service will be for each of the district sites.
- The district sites require a minimum of 2gbps service as well as options for 5gbps and 10gbps service with no over subscription in this model.
- The bidder is responsible for defining what type of fiber optic GBIC would be required at each of the district sites for these connections.
- The infrastructure could be utilized for voice, video and data communications as well as any future applications.
- Requirements
• Vendor does not need to respond for all sites
• One (1) paper copy and one (1) digital copy of the response must be provided.
• Provide a service level agreement as part of the proposal
• Vendor must breakout installation and internet service costs.
• Pricing shall be on an annual basis, inclusive of all discounts
• Vendor must allow for sites to be upgraded anytime during the contract term and be conterminous to the contract end date
• The vendor dmarc equipment must have dual power supplies.
• Vendor must provide backup DNS service description
• Vendor must detail procedures for 24/7, real time, direct telephone and email access to live technicians in provider’s support center via a toll-free number.
