RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide the removal and destruction of confidential paper and recycling services.
- Include for services:
• Contractor shall be required to furnish all labor, parts, materials and equipment to perform all operations for offsite document shredding of confidential material and pick up confidential records in a secured vehicle.
• Destruction of the records shall be shredded at contractor’s facility.
• Contractor shall supply 10- locked/64-gallon recycling bins at the orange administration building office location, 6 locked/64-gallon recycling bins at the city ana location, 6 locked/64-gallon recycling bins at the garden grove locations and 1-locked/64-gallon recycling bin at the lost and found location for secured destruction.
• Contractor shall supply 5 to 7 96-gallon recycling bins for paper and 3 to 5 175-gallon recycling bins for paper and cardboard at the orange administration building print shop.
• Contractor shall physically come into each location weekly, during normal business hours and empty all the recycling bins, replacing them with new ones at pick up.
• Provide with invoice a fully authorized and signed certificate of destruction attesting to:
o Quantity destroyed,
o Time and date destroyed,
o Method of destruction, along with confirmation of pickup and drop off slip, and
o Leaving a copy of the signed slip with the supervisor or designee.
- The budget for this effort is $25,000.
