The vendor is required to provide on-site document destruction and shredding services in accordance to the department needs and fund availability.
- The contractor shall provide all materials, tools, parts, equipment, and labor necessary to provide on-site document destruction and shredding services.
- If no bidders meet this proximity requirement, the nearest bidder meeting this requirement may be considered.
- Document destruction services shall be provided at the following locations in the city of long beach: the department operations service center, the department groundwater treatment plant, and the department gas service center
- All Destruction and shredding shall be completed on-site with a department employee present, no exceptions.
- Services shall be completed on a monthly basis. document destruction may include, but not limited to:
• Loose leaf paper
• Photos
• Maps.
