The vendor is required to provide that Energy Auditor to Conduct Building and Lighting Energy Audits Service seeks an energy auditor to conduct building and lighting energy audits for seven projects identified through a competitive grant process.
- These projects are funded by the federal Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program, energy audits to establish baseline performance and assess the effectiveness of proposed project metrics.
- Specific Objectives:
• Perform ASHRAE energy audits for the seven designated projects.
• Building Audits
- Develop comprehensive energy audit reports that include:
• Baseline energy performance metrics.
• Detailed analysis of current energy systems (building and lighting).
• Recommendations for improving energy efficiency with cost-benefit analyses.
• Recommendations for low-cost no-cost energy efficiency projects.
- Lighting Audits
• Audit existing streetlight systems to assess current energy performance.
• Provide recommendations for upgrades or replacements, including LED retrofits, controls, and other efficiency improvements.
• Develop detailed audit reports documenting findings, metrics, and proposed energy-saving measures.
- Access to project sites and facility data (e.g., utility bills, building plans) will be provided by OED and building owner
- Auditor to provide tools and equipment for energy audits, such as:
• Infrared thermometers
• Light meters
• Data loggers
• Building simulation software
• Other tools as needed
- Project Kickoff and Planning:
• Initial meeting with agency and subrecipients to confirm project details.
• Site access and data collection coordination
- Pre-Audit Preparation:
• Review of provided documentation (building plans, utility data).
• Development of audit checklist and schedule
- Energy Audits (Field Work):
• Conduct on-site audits for building and lighting systems.
• Collect all required data and perform necessary tests.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Analyze collected data to establish baselines.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with recommendations.
- Final Submission:
• Submit completed audit reports to agency.
- Contract Period/Term: 3 years
