The vendor is required to provide federal liaison and consulting services for include:
- Comprehensive strategic planning, strategy, and coordination
• Assist in developing and implementing short- and long-term federal funding strategies.
• Assist in securing federal funding.
• Upon request, research and prepare testimony and/or written comments before congress or federal agencies.
• Provide the following services: develop a strategic plan for pursuing funding opportunities; collaborate with the state congressional delegation to support the city's federal funding initiatives; provide regular status updates.
• Meet on a monthly basis with city officials to review and discuss current and upcoming issues at no cost to the city.
• Meetings through telecommunications will be used.
• In-person meetings may be required when deemed necessary by the officer-in-charge.
- Information gathering, communication, and counsel:
• Utilize their established network and expertise to proactively identify and track emerging information and developments relevant to the city.
• Deliver timely information and developments to facilitate strategic decision-making and enable the city to respond effectively to evolving circumstances, capitalizing on favorable conditions and minimizing adverse impacts.
• Provide expert counsel to guide the city’s response to these situations.
