The vendor is required to provide screening mid-size stones and large rocks from 18,000 cubic yards of fill dirt.
- The screened fill, through a combination of three-quarter inch (¾”) and half inch (½”) screens, will be the property of the awarded contractor.
- The awarded contractor will be responsible for loading, removing and transporting the screened fill in a timely manner.
- Large rocks are considered four inches (4”) or larger and mid-sized stones are considered less than four inches (4”) and bigger than half inch (1/2”).
- Screen 18,000 cubic yards of accumulated fill dirt at the highway department yard
- Equipment needed:
• Three (3) products, vibrating screen with minimum capacity of seventy (70) cubic yards of fill dirt per hour.
• One (1) large excavator for digging, stacking and handling the fill dirt pile as well as creating new storage piles.
• One (1) large front-end loader with a bucket size of four (4) cubic yards or bigger dedicated to moving the fill material and screened products within the highway yard for storage.
• This large front-end loader will also load the dump trucks.
• One (1) large front-end loader with a bucket size of four (4) cubic yards or bigger to assist with moving the fill material and screened products within the highway yard for storage.
• This large front-end loader will also assist with loading the dump trucks.
• One (1) large bulldozer for dozing and stocking piling of all materials.
• Two (2) large tri-axel dump trucks (at a minimum), for transporting screened fill.
