The vendor is required to provide strategic communications and public outreach services in support of county initiatives, including targeted public relations information campaigns such as promoting safe firearm storage.
1. Strategic communications & campaign development
• Provide consultation and support to define communication strategies and effective distribution methods for county messaging.
• Develop comprehensive communications plans, including campaign branding and core messaging aligned with specific county objectives.
• Conduct research on issues of public concern and produce relevant supporting materials. 
2. Content creation and production
• Design and develop visual and written content for digital and print formats, including:
o Posters, flyers, brochures, banners, and press materials.
o Digital assets such as social media graphics, website content, and informational documents.
• Capture and curate original photography and imagery for use in county materials. all media created will be owned by county for unrestricted use.
• Produce both scripted and unscripted video content, independently and in collaboration with county staff.
3. Media relations and public engagement
• Prepare and distribute press materials; assist in securing earned media coverage including print, broadcast, and digital outlets.
• Coordinate press events and community engagement activities, including a press conference to launch initiatives such as "youth violence and suicide prevention month."
• Support and manage social media campaigns, including content boosts and strategic promotion.
• Billboard messaging and placement strategies.
4. Event support
• Assist with planning and promotion of special public outreach events.
5. Reporting and analysis
• Track media and public engagement metrics.
• Compile and deliver a comprehensive final report summarizing campaign reach and effectiveness.
