The vendor is required to provide that information technology (IT) and support services for capable of meeting our current and future technology needs.
- Vendor will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the town's IT infrastructure, including network administration, cybersecurity, hardware and software management, user support, and strategic technology planning.
- The IT environment is administered and supported by an external IT services company.
- There are approximately 25 full-time employees and 3 part time employees with 35-40 microsoft 365 licensed users that use about 25 pcs.
- The town has 7 virtual machines running on a single Hyper-V host with SAN storage.
- The server and SAN are at or past the recommended end of life.
- Backups include virtual servers and are stored locally on a NAS to the cloud.
- Security on the network includes application control, endpoint detect and respond and spam filtering.
- The network consists of three switches and a firewall.
- The firewall provides VPN connectivity for remote access to onsite town resources.
- Mobile devices may be supported but are not officially town devices.
- There is a Wi-fi system to provide connectivity.
- Network connected security includes cameras and access control.

5. Proactive network and firewall management and monitoring
• Monitoring and management of critical town firewalls
• Review of firewall security protocols and VPN access

• Configuration of remote access for users and to outside systems/vendors
• Implementing secure network design
• Ensuring appropriate security and access methods for WI-FI
• Configuration and maintenance of network switches and devices

6. Proactive cloud management and administration
• Assist in user provisioning and onboarding
