The Vendor is required to provide inspection and specification services include:
• Prepare detailed specifications with cost estimates of any required repairs within one week of request regarding the energy efficiency program and/or elderly rehabilitation program;
• Prepare a detailed inspection report in a format and via a form acceptable to the city within one week of request regarding the energy efficiency program and/or elderly rehabilitation program; (approximately 4 visits per)
• Conduct periodic inspections during rehabilitation/new construction work for authorizing contractor payments and certifying conformity of work with specifications and final signoff upon work completion for the large projects either facility improvements and/or housing projects the city has investment with non-profit and for-profit owner/developers. (Approximately 4 visits per)
• Required to meet with city staff and property owners to coordinate the requirements of the city program with the contractor’s work regarding the energy efficiency program and/or elderly rehabilitation program. (Approximately 2 visits per)
• Required to meet with contractor to resolve any findings found during the periodic inspections during rehabilitation regarding the energy efficiency program and/or elderly rehabilitation program (approximately 2 visits per)
• Cost analysis and means/methods of change orders relating to the energy efficiency program and/or elderly rehabilitation program.
