The vendor is required to provide that it batch operation monitoring and notification services to agency for 156 hours per week.
- The batch operations are essential to the organization’s function and support multiple groups, including finance, treasury, call center, water treatment, it, and others. on weekdays, water runs nearly 2,000 batch jobs per day.
- Action on failed jobs, jobs that should be running but are not, long-running jobs, tidal agent issues, and tidal master/backup issues based on either the job’s tidal run book instructions or email alerts.

- Initial implementation plan:
• The contractor will be required to provide agency with an initial implementation plan to begin monitoring agency batch operations.
• The plan must include a project schedule, transition plan, resources required from agency, physical monitoring locations, disaster recovery plan, and a main point of contact to coordinate with agency.
- Access & communication
• Agency will provide the contractor with access to its tidal enterprise scheduler through agency.
• The contractor will be responsible for monitoring the it batch operations as they run to completion. in the event of a failed job, the contractor will restart the job or notify agency within fifteen (15) minutes. agency will provide the contractor with procedures to restart, skip, or notify agency based on the type of job.
• To monitoring and notifications, the contractor will provide agency with a daily write-up detailing the progress of batch operations and issues that have occurred.
