RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide from qualified and experienced operators/developers/architects (“respondents”) for a long-term land lease for the town-owned property located at 50 east street (“property”), which contains a 31,044 square-foot colonial revival style building (“building”) on 4.63 acres of land.
- Objectives:
• Align with the goals as set forth in the 2021 plan of conservation and development.
• Develop a municipal cultural/performance center.
• Consider mixed-use and residential uses as components of the project.
• Enhance and complement the downtown area’s existing uses and amenities.
• Deliver high construction standards contextual with the traditional downtown village character.
• Maximize incorporation of green building and sustainable design practices.
• Incorporate sufficient parking as identified in the downtown parking assessment report and through an analysis of proposed project uses.
• Maintain public access to historical administration art within the existing building.
