RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide CAN (children’s action network) mapping coordinator to plan, coordinate, and evaluate the mapping process.
- Be based in the state;
- Have demonstrated expert knowledge and skills in logistics, planning, and coordination with a minimum of three (3) years of experience with program evaluation;
- Have demonstrated knowledge and familiarity working with doh and other state agencies, including an understanding of doh policies, rules, and regulations related to procurement and guidelines for evaluating social service programs;
- Have at least three (3) years of experience evaluating social service programs;
- Have demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with child abuse prevention and the can framework;
- Reflect a professional attitude and appearance in all settings, events, communications, and activities related to this scope;
- Provide two (2) letters of support from public or private programs that support your expertise in supporting and implementing virtual events;
- The contractor shall be responsible for the following tasks and responsibilities:
• Serve as the expert or procure expertise in assessing the extent to which services are rooted in local communities and involve community members in decision-making and implementation.
• Call and zoom with individual can prevention programs to share the purpose of the map, how the information will be used and collect needed data;
• Evaluate the use of research-supported interventions and programs (s) as needed; meet with the agency advisory committee to create an initial list of statewide programs;
• Assess the extent to which services are community-based, evidence-based, and collaborative; conduct statewide research on can prevention programming and document data that is publicly available;
• Evaluate the effectiveness of community assessments, mobilization, interventions, monitoring, and sustainability.
• Do check-ins with the advisory committee on an agreed upon schedule
• Collect quantitative and qualitative data to analyze program participation, outcomes, and community perspectives;
• Establish a plan to track reductions in child abuse and neglect reports and increases in family well-being, community engagement, program effectiveness, and sustainability;
• Develop evaluation criteria and survey measures and methodology in coordination with and as directed by agency; survey for obtaining quantitative and qualitative feedback from agencies involved in the mapping process;
• Provide a budget for agency to review and approve before finalizing the mapping;
• Procure and process invoices and payments to vendors in coordination with and directed by cbcap within a reasonable amount of time, not to exceed thirty (30) days after the event;
• Provide a signed, dated, final invoice and brief feedback report within thirty (30) days following the mapping.
