The vendor is required to provide from qualified firms or individuals to develop all maps associated with the city’s comprehensive plan update (the "comp plan").
- All tasks necessary to prepare maps as required for the comp plan, both for local adoption and submission to the state of statewide planning for review, comment, and approval.
- These maps include, but may not be limited to:
• Existing conditions:
o Land use, including the range of residential housing densities;
o Zoning;
o Key infrastructure such as, but not limited to: roads, public water, and sewer;
o Service areas for public water and sewer;
o Historical and cultural resource areas and sites;
o Open space and conservation areas (public and private); and
o Natural resources such as, but not limited to: surface water, wetlands, floodplains, soils, and agricultural land;
• Future land use illustrating the desired patterns of development, density, and conservation as defined by the comprehensive plan; and
• Identification of discrepancies between future land uses and existing zoning use categories. - Draft maps shall be prepared and submitted to ri division of statewide planning for review, comment, and approval.
- Any comments received during this review process shall be incorporated into the final maps, subject to approval by statewide planning.
- All GIS mapping data and cartographical representations of data assembled in support of the comp plan shall be delivered in separate files
- The selected consultant shall maintain effective and regular communication and coordination with the principal deputy director of planning and other consultants working on the comp plan.
- The city has allocated a budget of $10,000 for this initiative.
