RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide perform pre-employment physicals of internal and external job applicants for all positions, including first responders as specified in the requirements below and as directed by the human resources staff.
- The vendor performs pre-employment physicals of internal and external job applicants for any position as directed by the human resources staff.
- The necessary training to analyze the testing results and prepare a written report on each applicant.
- If there are concerns with the results, a written report shall be provided to the city within forty-eight (48) business hours of an exam.
- All other written reports may be delivered electronically either through a secure access method or via e-mail.
- The vendor must be able to schedule pre-employment appointments within two (2) calendar weeks of the request for an appointment.
- The vendor must be able to allow walk-in appointments for substance screenings, bat, and post-accident testing during normal business hours.
 - The vendor must be able to conduct mobile onsite substance and bat screenings on any day of the week and various hours throughout the day.
- The vendor must be available for consultation with human resources staff relating to personnel issues and concerns.
- The vendor will conduct fit-for-duty examinations or second opinion medical evaluations for final candidates and employees as directed by human resources staff.
- The vendor must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all city of personnel.
 - The vendor must be familiar and current with relevant state and federal statutes and case law, as well as other legal requirements related to employment and personnel practices.
