RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide evaluation and technical assistance services to; expand access to resources, including trainings, interventions, and referrals to treatment, and further engage schools and communities in supporting their youth through mental health and substance use treatment, recovery, and support services.
- The partnership will allow agency to create and complete a district-wide needs assessment/data report to identify community-specific mental and behavioral health and substance use challenges, limitations, and specific needs.
• The vendor will provide evaluation services to agency in alignment with their stronger together grant from cook county health.
• The vendor will provide evaluation and technical assistance services to agency office of student health and wellness (OSHW) in order to meet grant deliverables, including the following projects:
o Substance use student focus groups
o Mental health student focus group
o Staff survey
• The vendor will provide these services through the following activities:
o Initial meetings to review data collection protocols, notes, etc.
o Review of existing resources, databases, database analytics, resource dissemination methods, etc.
o Development of codebooks, analysis plans
o Conduct analysis of de identified information and data
o Meetings to review findings and discuss interpretation
o Dissemination of findings and recommendations
o Environmental scan of mental health and substance use resources, databases, database analytics, resource dissemination methods, etc.
o Development, design, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of staff survey on mental health strategy implementation
o Routine meetings to review findings and discuss interpretation
o Dissemination of findings and recommendations
• The vendor will be held accountable to the following responsibilities in order to provide the service.
• All projects will be staffed through grant funds and in-kind efforts from OSHW staff.
• No products, software, facilities, or equipment are being provided through this agreement.
• This scope of work entails the following regular meetings during the 18-month project period:
o Bi-weekly to monthly evaluation meetings including to share progress updates and preliminary findings as appropriate  
o Additional meetings with key stakeholders, as needed, including but not limited to other project partners such as internal agency partners, network staff, school staff, etc.
