The vendor is required to provide a radiologist group to read radiologic exams utilizing Konica Minolta symmetry digital technology suite, peer reviews and provider continuing education.
- Radiologist requirements:
• Licensed radiologist that meets all the state and federal guidelines for service.
• Board certified and licensed to practice in the state
• Interpretation of radiologic exams must be available by noon of the following business day
• Ultrasound images are stand-alone and will not go through the system
• Approval of final reports must be completed within 24 hours from the time of the exam; except on weekends and holidays (please include a list of your holidays as an attachment to your bid response)
• Must be available for immediate stat interpretations
• Must have ability to interface with Konica Minolta symmetry system
• If ordering provider’s preliminary read differs from the radiologist’s interpretation, report findings will be called back to the ordering provider immediately
• Available as needed for on-site peer review, quality improvement activities, and training in radiology and ultrasound imaging
• Available as needed for on-site provider continuing education and consultation regarding radiologic and ultrasound diagnostics
• Background checks and references may be requested
• Radiologist must provide proof of malpractice insurance annually with the minimum limits of liability of $300,000/$600,000
• No reading fees may be charged to the patient from the awarded vendor
• Must identify your file export format(s)
• Pricing is to be on a monthly basis with quarterly invoices.
