The vendor is required to provide real estate to represent the city in the acquisition of property located in the city.
- Licensed local agents who are accessible and available to work closely with the city in a variety of real estate transactions.
- The selected firm will have proven knowledge, familiarity and experience in the city real estate market and will be responsible for assisting the city in the due diligence aspect of property valuation, marketing, and sales of property to potential developers.
- Firm will be responsible for the drafting of letters of intent for the purchase of the chosen real estate properties, providing advice concerning deal points in the negotiation of the purchase and sale agreements, and being responsible for all aspects of the negotiation.
- Firm must be capable of offering a variety of marketing tools and methodologies for the acquisition of the properties the city is targeting for purchase.
- Required but not limited to assisting in the preparation of purchase agreements, providing comparable sales reports which will be provided to and reviewed with the city and its stakeholders via telephone conference or in person as it meets the needs of the city.
