RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide that recruitment of chief human resources officers service to fostering excellence in leadership across its campuses to ensure the success of its institutions, students, and the broader community.
- To achieving this vision by providing strategic leadership in workforce development, fostering productive campus environments, and ensuring compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
- A critical role in aligning human resource strategies with institutional goals, advancing operational efficiencies, and upholding the highest standards of university governance.
- To identify highly qualified, visionary leaders capable of supporting campus’s strategic objectives and driving meaningful impact across the university system by ensuring the hiring and retention of highly qualified and visionary.
- The selected search firm will provide comprehensive recruitment and hiring services, which shall include but not be limited to the following:
• Needs assessment and position development
o Collaborate with university leadership and search committees to develop a detailed understanding of the institution’s needs and expectations
o Refine and finalize job descriptions, qualifications, and evaluation criteria in a manner unique to each campus
oDevelop a profile to announce the position and market the opportunity.
• Candidate identification and outreach
o Conduct a nationwide search to identify a diverse pool of highly qualified candidates.
o Leverage industry networks, databases, and other recruitment tools to identify passive and active candidates.
o Focus on candidates with diverse backgrounds, placing emphasis on those whose expertise and experiences are transferable to university governance and demonstrate leadership skills honed across varied sectors
o Ensure that the candidate pool complies with equal employment opportunity (eeo) standards.
• Screening and evaluation
o Conduct initial screening interviews, either via telephone or in-person, to clarify the candidates’ experience and assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and fit.
o Provide detailed candidate profiles, including resumes, references, background check, including social media, certifications, and an assessment summary to the search committee for candidates recommended for interview.
o Administer and evaluate leadership assessments or other relevant tools, as requested by search committee.
• Interview and selection support
o Coordinate scheduling and logistics for candidate interviews with university leadership and search committees. provide interview templates, evaluation rubrics, and other tools to support consistent and objective assessment.
o Facilitate debrief meetings and support the identification of final candidates.
o Conduct reference and background checks on the final candidates, including telephone reference checks and requesting and receiving written letters of reference.
• Offer negotiation and onboarding assistance
o Provide support with offer negotiations, including compensation, benefits, and other terms of employment if requested by the university.
o Provide support to ensure a smooth transition and onboarding process for the selected candidate.
