The vendor is required to provide to obtain pricing for and procure a simulation recording system for the nursing clinical simulation labs at college.
- The system should support high-quality video recording, playback, and live streaming to enhance clinical training and assessment.
- Cloud-based solutions will not be considered.
- Equipment and installation requirements
• Furnish and install an on-premises server with a minimum storage capacity of 4 tb for video recordings.
• Equip three (3) nursing simulation labs and their associated control rooms with a simulation recording system.
• Each simulation lab must have sufficient equipment to capture both audio and visual input, including at a minimum:
o Two (2) cameras, one (1) of which must be a pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera.
o One (1) microphone for recording audio.
o An intercom system for communication between the simulation lab and the control room.
• Equip one (1) nursing skills lab with a mobile simulation recording system that includes:
o A mobile, ergonomic cart with a PTZ camera and microphone.
o Support for both wired (ethernet) and wireless (wi-fi) network connections.
o A compact and stable design that allows easy movement between beds to record student activity
- Technical requirements
• All cameras must record at a minimum resolution of 1080p.
• The simulation recording system must be capable of integrating and capturing real-time manikin vital signs.
- Electrical and network specifications
• Simulation rooms 239, 241, and 243 each have a 120-volt, 20-amp duplex receptacle installed in the acoustical ceiling, along with a network connection.
• Control room 240 has one (1) 120-volt, 20-amp duplex receptacle installed in the acoustical ceiling, along with a network connection.
• Control room 242 has two (2) 120-volt, 20-amp duplex receptacles installed in the acoustical ceiling, along with a network connection
