RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide to establish a statewide contract for job placement services for a segment of the population receiving division benefits and other individuals defined within priority populations.
- Shall engage with participating entities to ensure candidates are a good fit for the positions being filled.
- Shall recommend placement of qualified individuals within priority populations for vacant positions based on qualifications and skill set.
- Shall supply sufficient, competent, reliable, and properly licensed or certified or both personnel to provide adequate and satisfactory services as required under a resulting contract?
- In cases where special licenses, accreditations, certifications, or permits are required by state, federal and/or local law, statute, or regulation for an employee to perform services of specified job descriptions, the contractor shall provide current copies of such licenses, accreditations, certifications and permits upon the state’s request.
- Shall maintain all applicable licenses, accreditations, certifications and permits during the aggregate term of the resulting contract.
- Shall immediately notify the state by written notice in the event any of its employees’ licenses, accreditations, certifications, or permits are revoked, expired, or suspended.
- Shall be responsible and may be held financially liable for the negligent acts of its candidates.
- Each participating entity will provide a listing of vacant position classifications to the contractor; however, the listing is not meant to be all-inclusive.
- Upon a request for service from the participating entity, the contractor shall provide expedient temporary employment services.
1. An e-mail or telephone call from the participating entity will constitute a request for service.
- The participating entity reserves the right to interview the candidate to determine their qualifications for the required position; however, this does not negate the contractor’s responsibility of qualifying candidate(s).
- Shall inform the participating entity of the proposed job classification and applicable rate prior to placing a candidate.
- Participating entities may refer a specific individual as a candidate to be recruited by the contractor to perform specific services needed or may request the contractor to recruit and provide a specific temporary candidate.
1. The participating entity will not pay a placement or conversion fee for individuals who are a direct referral from the participating entity.
- The participating entity may reject and/or remove any candidate who does not meet the requested experience or is deficient in the performance of the assignment.
- Generally, work hours will be between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm, central time, on business days, depending on the participating entity.
- Any non-working time as the result of early dismissal, due to weather or any other situation as determined by the participating entity are excluded.
- Temporarily assigned personnel will work no more than eight (8) hours per day, excluding one (1) hour for lunch; or a total of forty (40) hours per week.
- Contract Period/Term: 2 years
