The Vendor is required to provide as-needed staffing services for center.
- Provide as-needed intelligence analyst staffing services in support of agency by assisting high-threat, high-density urban areas in efforts to build and sustain the capabilities necessary to prevent, protect against, mitigate, respond to, and recover from acts of terrorism for areas within agency jurisdiction.
- The Intelligence Analyst must possess, including but not limited to, the following skills:
• Receive and collect subject, address, and other data telephonically and by other methods from law enforcement investigators and agents.
• Enter information into a database.
• Initiate and conduct research efforts to ensure no conflicts with other law enforcement operations or other cases exist.
• Access a variety of law enforcement databases.
• Correlate new data with existing data to determine conflicts.
• Evaluate data from a variety of sources.
• Respond to queries and disseminate information to law enforcement investigators and agents.
• Conduct briefings and presentations on program capabilities.
- All positions are at‐will and dependent upon year‐to‐year federal grant funding.
- The position holder must pass a law enforcement background investigation conducted by agency, which may include drug testing and/or a polygraph exam, and applicants must have an active federal secret security clearance.
- Responsible for any expense associated with performing the background investigation needed for a federal secret security clearance.
- The intelligence analyst will use available information to produce intelligence products, situational awareness reports, analytic assessments, provide intelligence briefings, and perform other related tasks to identify new threats and trends and increase situational awareness for regional public safety personnel and organizations.
- Manage incoming requests and internal sharing of information reports, and perform product distribution to external partners using established procedures.
- Work is primarily performed indoors in a carpeted, climate-controlled office environment with fluorescent lighting and moderate noise levels.
- Develop and deliver well-designed and organized presentations, briefings, and training classes to audiences of various sizes.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to provide constructive edits and feedback on coworkers’ projects and to receive and appropriately incorporate constructive but often critical feedback into projects
- Demonstrate knowledge and ability to always adhere to all appropriate laws, regulations, policies, and requirements about privacy, civil rights, civil liberties, and other matters that govern the collection, retention, and dissemination of information.
