The vendor required to provide common use passenger processing system (“CUPPS”) deployment at four domestic gates and ten ticket check-in positions as well as a flight information display system (fids) and gate information display system (gids).
- The solution encompasses:
• 4 gate counter positions (gates 1-4) with overhead gids
• 10 check-in counter positions with overhead fid screens
• 3 baggage carousel displays
• 1 fid screen at the top of the escalator beyond the TSA checkpoint.
• 1 visual announcement screen prior to the TSA checkpoint
- local departure control system (LDCS)
• The LDCS will enable airlines and ground handling staff to process passengers, without the need for a connection to a standard reservation system.
• Provide professional services to design, install, and provide support services for the LDCS.
- Common use passenger processing systems (CUPPS)
• Authority does not operate any common use systems to enable passenger processing functionality for the airlines operating at the airport.
• The new passenger processing system will be a CUPPS compliant system that will facilitate the seamless sharing of physical check-in and gate counter positions among multiple airlines, ground handlers, or other users.
• Whether operating simultaneously or consecutively, these entities will utilize the facility with their respective host software and a standardized set of compatible hardware.
• This will be achieved without necessitating any specific software or equipment adjustments by individual airlines.
• The CUPPS host interface solution will support existing airlines’ connectivity requirements.
- Passenger processing systems (CUPPS)
• Up to 3 additional gates (gate 5 and two proposed ground boarding stations to be built at a later time)
• Each additional gate could have up to 2 gate counter positions
• Each additional gate would have a single position at boarding door podiums
• 3 additional check-in positions
• Additional paper stock for common use systems
- Common use self-service (CUSS)
• These may be added in the future through this alternative.
• The new common-use self-service (CUSS) solution will enable passengers to complete the check-in process for any participating airline at any kiosk or check-in counter kiosk with minimal to no agent assistance.
• The initial setup, the CUSS kiosk will not need any software, equipment configurations or modifications to be used by any participating airline.
• Provide pricing for the installation of a minimum of two (2) kiosks for the airport’s check-in hall.
• Provide and configure this component of the project’s alternative.
