Vendors to provide a comprehensive, secure, scalable, and integrated payment processing, One Card, and point-of-sale (POS) solution for the College.
- Solution must support The Citadel's current and future payment processing needs across multiple departments, locations, systems, and payment channels, including student account payments, credit and debit card transactions, ACH/eCheck payments, retail and point-of-sale transactions, One Card transactions, online and departmental payments, and other College payment activities.
- Solution must:
• Provide a comprehensive payment processing solution capable of supporting student, departmental, retail, e-commerce, and other College payment activities.
• Provide a centralized payment gateway capable of supporting multiple College departments, locations, merchant accounts, and payment channels.
• Integrate with The Citadel's existing Ellucian Banner environment and support real-time processing and exchange of applicable payment and account information.
• Support student billing and online account presentation, including access for students and authorized users.
• Support electronic student payments, electronic refunds, and student payment plans.
• Support College One Card functionality, including identification and declining balance transactions.
• Support card-present point-of-sale transactions at college retail, dining, auxiliary, and other applicable locations.
• Support e-commerce and departmental payment functionality for goods, services, registrations, events, fees, merchandise, donations, and other College activities.
• Support hosted payment pages, storefronts, and secure payment functionality for college and thirdparty applications.
• Support multiple departments and merchant IDs while allowing transactions to be associated with the appropriate department, merchant, location, and accounting information.
• Support general ledger coding and departmental fund/account mapping necessary for appropriate posting and reconciliation.
• Provide centralized administrative controls with role-based access and appropriate separation of duties.
• Provide cashiering functionality and appropriate administrative tools for college personnel.
• Support transaction authorization, settlement, refunds, reversals, chargebacks, disputes, and reconciliation.
• Provide controls designed to prevent duplicate payments and identify transaction-processing errors.
• Provide real-time or near-real-time transaction information and appropriate audit trails.
• Provide production and test environments that allow The Citadel to configure and test integrations, upgrades, and system changes prior to deployment.
• Provide a scalable solution capable of accommodating additional departments, merchant locations, payment methods, integrations, modules, and functionality during the contract term.
• Provide secure APIs, web services, hosted payment functionality, or other supported methods for integration with college and third-party applications.
