- A webbased, AI-assisted master-scheduling solution for three junior-senior high schools. The solution shall assist District and school staff with developing, managing, and completing student master
schedules.
- Solution shall include the following:
A. Master Scheduling Software
o Provide a secure, web-based master-scheduling platform.
o Support scheduling for junior and senior high school grade levels.
o Use automated and/or AI-assisted tools to assist staff in developing and optimizing master schedules.
o Allow staff to create, modify, review, and compare scheduling options before finalizing a schedule.
B. Skyward Integration
o Integrate with the District’s existing Skyward Student Information System.
o Import necessary student, course, teacher, and scheduling information from Skyward.
o Allow completed scheduling information to be transferred or uploaded back into Skyward.
o Clearly identify any additional software, services, or District resources required for the integration.
C. Scheduling Capabilities
o Create and manage course sections.
o Assign teachers to courses and sections.
o Manage student course requests.
o Support complex scheduling requirements and constraints.
o Identify and assist with resolving student, teacher, room, course, and scheduling conflicts.
o Load students into completed master schedules.
o Allow schedules to be adjusted as needed throughout the scheduling process.
D. Implementation
o Assist District and school staff with initial setup and configuration.
o Assist with importing and validating required data.
o Work with District staff to establish scheduling requirements and constraints for each participating school.
o Provide assistance through the development and completion of each school's master schedule.
E. Training
o Provide training for District and school personnel who will use the system.
o Provide user guides, training materials, or other resources necessary for staff to effectively use the solution.
o Provide additional assistance during the initial implementation and scheduling process as needed.
F. Customer and Technical Support
o Provide ongoing customer and technical support throughout the contract term.
o Provide access to knowledgeable support personnel who can assist with software, integration, and scheduling-related issues.
o Describe the Vendor's normal support hours, methods of contact, and expected response times.
