Learning Management System

Vendor who will provide and support a citywide Learning Management System for managing, tracking, delivering, and reporting development and training opportunities to City of Naperville's 1,100 employees.
1. Content Management
A. The system should have the ability to host pre-built training and upload custom content courses, in addition to the training library described in Section 1.1.
B. The system should function as a centralized training repository including:
o Course catalog information
o Course descriptions and objectives
o Course types
o Learning paths
C. Proposals should discuss any details or limitations to these capabilities, including SCORM support or other relevant technical specifications.
- System Notifications
A. The LMS should support customizable notifications, including but not limited to: registration, withdrawal, waitlist, class reminders, cancellations, and incomplete courses.
B. The system should communicate when a course is required or due, and provide automated notifications for recurring training or certification requirements (e.g., annual or biennial).
C. The system should support flexible scheduling of reminders for incomplete trainings (e.g., at 30, 60, or 90 days), with an option to notify supervisors if training remains incomplete.
D. Higher-scoring proposals will demonstrate capability and flexibility in reliably notifying all relevant parties across various devices and methods.
