The vendor is required to provide translation services on a mutually agreed upon schedule between the office and contractor(s).
- Contractor(s) shall remain on call during this time and reachable by phone, text, or email.
- Office and contractor(s) shall communicate regularly and update this schedule to accommodate translation needs of the courts.
- Contractor(s) shall only be reimbursed for hours worked providing translation services.
- Translation assignments will be managed by the office language access services (las) statewide program manager.
- The winning contractor(s) shall provide a variety of the following services as requested by the office:
• Contractor(s) shall comply with the american translators’ association (ATA) code of ethics and professional practice;
• Contractor(s) may be required to deliver translation services from english into Spanish and Spanish into english of domestic violence (dv) forms and related documents.
• These documents are time-sensitive and require a turn-around time of 1 hour.
• Contractor(s) may be required to deliver translation services from english into languages other than Spanish (lots) and lots into english of (dv) forms and related documents.

• Contractor(s) may be required to translate court forms and lengthy, complex, formal documents, manuals, and other informational materials from english into Spanish or lots and Spanish or lots into english;
e. Contractor(s) may be required to translate websites and signage from english to Spanish or lots;
• Contractor(s) may be required to transcribe and translate audio recordings from english to Spanish or lots or Spanish or lots to english;
• Contractor(s) may be required to provide dubbings and voice overlays in english, Spanish or lots.
• Upon acceptance of the assignment, the contractors will complete the assigned translation request based on the duration and nature of the assignment while coordinating with the office.
• Work assignments shall be approved by the language access services’ statewide program manager.
• Contractor(s) shall be required to provide accurate and complete information as required for reports, statistical reporting purposes and completion of invoices.
• Contractor(s) shall communicate with court staff and the office in a timely and efficient manner regarding translation of documents.
• Contractor(s) shall provide other duties as requested by office or the assigned courts, which may include, but are not limited to, participate in meetings at the direction of the office and email correspondence.
- Contractor(s) must provide timely submission of invoices and backup material as directed by the office.
