Interpreting Services

The vendor is required to provide that interpreting services for include:
• Not be required to provide services for more than eight (8) hours a day unless specified otherwise in the engagement request and agreed to by the contractor;
• Provide professional quality interpretation for the language(s) requested;
• Be fully able to provide all services requested by the engagement request and accepted as part of the engagement response;
• Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the request;
• Be professionally dressed in business casual with no political attire visible. using agencies have the right to request more professional attire for specific engagements, at their discretion;
• Accurately interpret between at least two (2) individuals; and
• Have sufficient qualifications, ability, proficiency, and experience to provide the required services.
- Translation transcription requirements
• Translate into the language requested;
• Translate all documents included in the request;
• Complete all work within the timeframe specified by the awarded engagement;
• Certify that all translations are 100% accurate;
• Follow all formatting as stated by the initial request.
• This can include court reporting transcripts, poster formats, document formatting, etc.; and
• Possess the experience and qualifications necessary to successfully complete the work as requested by the using agency.
