Speech and Language Services

The Vendor is required to provide speech and language services on an “as-needed” basis throughout the year.
- Speech and language services, assessments and training services as needed by the district.
• Design and implement therapy service or evaluations, including teacher consultation services and home programs, appropriate to meet the need of the individual students as determined by the individualized education programs (IEP) committee for each student for whom service is provided according to the state and federal regulations and within professional ethics for speech and language services.
• Perform speech and language services in accord with the applicable standard of care.
• Complete federal and state documentation governing the provision of, and payment for, vendors’ services.
• Progress reports on the treatment of student(s), Medicaid documentation, or other evaluation reports as may be appropriate or required for each student.
• Intended to solicit responses to provide the special education division, with a current qualified pool of interested professionals at all times.
